Large street-facing windows provide prime exposure and advertising to foot and street traffic along Route 32N as well as the New York State Empire Trail. Your business will be conveniently located to serve the nearly 100 residents of Zero Place, as well as visitors to nearby Historic Huguenot Street and the nearby Rail Trail. Zero Place prides itself in being a high efficiency building; lowering your energy bills and minimizing your carbon footprint.

The LEED rating systems are an approach developed by the USGBC to quantify green and sustainable building design, construction, and operational practices. In order to pursue LEED Certification, a project must meet mandatory prerequisites and earn points by selecting credits from eight categories that focus on topics including energy, site selection, material selection, and indoor air quality.
Zero Place has been designed and constructed to meet the certification requirements for the LEED for Homes rating system. Through an integrated design process, the project team has successfully planned and implemented an innovative, net-zero-energy and carbon-neutral mixed-used building. Zero Place is located on a previously developed lot that has easy access to local amenities such as restaurants, shopping, and the Empire State trail. This project has also complied with the strictest indoor air quality standards which includes conscious and low-emitting material and paint selections for a healthy indoor environment. Additionally, Zero Place has installed electric vehicle charging stations for tenants free of charge.
By pursuing LEED certification, Zero Place has displayed outstanding leadership toward a new era of healthier, more efficient, carbon- and cost-saving green buildings.

We want to thank everyone for your encouragement and excitement as you’ve watched Zero Place going up, despite the weeks-long COVID pause. It is exciting to see how many want to join us in our zero-energy mission and to become part of the Zero Place community. We know that you are anxious to understand the timeline for opening as well as the application process. Apartments will be generally available by January 1, 2021. We hope to make some apartments available even earlier and open on a rolling basis. We will share the timing of the opening on each unit as part of our online application process, which we anticipate rolling out within one to two weeks. We will advertise this application process prominently, and we will also honor the ordered list of people who expressed interest over the past couple of years as an important factor.
